"Car of the Update" - Archive
( In no particular order, shuffled regularly and how they were listed in the original Gallery feature... )
Genuinely good, original, Ferrari are now very rare. I have transported quite a few now as regular visitors will know, but this was just slightly more exceptional than most... it's a 1973 Ferrari 246 "Dino" GTS....
...Collected from Hertfordshire this week in the Covered Transporter of course.
What made this exceptional was that it was collected from it's second keeper who had the car for the last 30 years and was totally original and stunning in every way, with only 67k on the clock. This made working on a Friday worth the effort!
This year, 2008, sees the 60th Birthday of Land Rover and no doubt there will be celebrations up and down the country!
In the early days of 1948 there was a "Pre Production" run of just, ironically, 48 Land Rover models. Apparently 19 are still known to survive.... This is Chassis Number 16...
...which is simply superb! I collected this last week from the far North of Scotland from a gentleman who actually has an earlier Land Rover Welder too..!
Being the proud owner of a new Land Rover Discovery 3 myself I couldn't resist the photo opportunity of the pair together.....
Land Rover - 1948 - 2008
60 Years
The Autosport International Show at the Birmingham NEC is always a busy time for me and this year, 2008, was no exception.
Each year I take in a few very special cars that demand very special treatment. Along with the RS200 and an Exige that are already on my website, this year was also privileged to provide specialist transportation for a BMW....
"A BMW?" you ask! Not any old BMW of course, but the cover and 7 page editorial of BMW Car magazine January 2008 issue.....
It's a BMW Z8...
....and it wasn't just parked in the Pistonheads Supercar Car Park either - this was the centre piece ( in my opinion! ) of the BMW Owners Club stand. It really was fantastic...
Having just earned a well deserved fortnight off over the Christmas period I thought that before I hit the motorways again from tomorrow I would put a car up here on the "Hot Spot" that didn't quite make it during the year...

...It's a stunning 1947 Rover 12 that I transported to it's new keeper up in Inverness late summer 2007.
Now though, its 2008 and another great year lies ahead!
So Happy New Year to you all and watch this space....
So where do I start? This is quite possibly the most difficult choice ever for "Car of the Update". I've been to the Goodwood Festival of Speed with a Carrera GT, Aston Martin Works Service no fewer than four times, transported three different Ferrari Spyder, some stunning vintage - Riley, Austin and Jaguar and as for the Ford GT... amazing.
So what is my choice? It's an MG....
This is the real deal... a genuine Le Mans competitor from the 1930's, an MG J4
"Supercharged". A truly excellent car in every sense of the word...
Some some say that this is the car that saved Maserati....
...It's a 1962 Maserati 3500 GT Superleggera Touring and simply superb it was too. Freshly imported from the US here we see the car on it's way to the legendary Bill McGrath Maserati for fettling.... what a great end to a very long week last week!

This update I must admit that I knew what would make "Car of the Update" before I even set eyes upon it. When the new owner contacted me to arrange collection on his behalf it was bound to be just a bit special as his Jaguar XK140 had already achieved this heady accolade ! I was not surprised either that it was red....
If you are unsure, this is a 1956 Messerschmitt KR 200 3 Wheeler. This particular car had been lovingly restored to a very high standard by Terry Perrin, Manchester, and really was a superb example. The thought of driving such a device was a terrifying thought, so we pushed it on to the trailer !
What can I say about this? .... I'll start with "WOW!".... Then I'll hand over to Andrew Frankel of The Times....
http://driving.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/driving/new_car_reviews/article3051283.ece
.... That's right, Today I transported the first Farbio GTS....
..Visit the Farbio website at www.farbiosportscars.com for more...
Regular visitors will be glad to know that at last the Kremer 930 has now been archived and that there is a new "Car of the Update"! It really can be a difficult choice sometimes as I do get to transport some serious metal around and about and yet again I had to choose between no less than 3 Ferrari, a Corvette and a stunning Riley amongst others. It was a close thing, especially as just like London Buses two came along in the same week, but this wins...
....its a Ferrari 360 Modena. The 360 Modena has been a Ferrari that has eluded me for quite some time until last week when I had the coincidental privilege to transport 2, both for private individuals and both equally stunning, but this job was just a little bit special as the client required collection in London for delivery to the Hotel de Paris, Casino Square in Monte Carlo. No problem...

UPDATE... August 2007... I took this car to the Hotel Byblos, St Tropez, this year!
ANOTHER UPDATE... September 2007... I just collected this car from the Hotel du Palais, Biarritz - no picture I'm afraid as it was dark when I got there, but this is the place...

Now and again I get to collect something really special with an equally special history.
The car is a Jaguar E Type 2+2 Drop Head V12 which had been owned from brand new from where it was collected. The car was immaculate in every sense of the word and had truly been cherished - certainly a case of "The Other Woman"!....
Some marques can allude me for years, then just like London buses 2 come along at once. The marque in question this time around is "Ultima". The first call was from a customer in The Wirral who after 3 years building this car had decided to send his almost complete Ultima GTR for finishing by the Ultima factory in Hinckley...
...and then a phone call 2 days later from Paul Stephens ( www.paul-stephens.com ) who had sold an Ultima Can Am to a customer in Milan, Italy. Here is the car being tucked away in Suffolk and outside its new home at Mythos Cars ( www.mythoscars.it ) in Milan next morning...

This really is a splendid car, I know it's not a "real" one, but unless you have one a half million in the bank it is an excellent compromise...
...It's a Jaguar "D Type" replica. I apologise to the Ferrari owners who thought that they would be up here this time round, but this was excellent - and the owner has also won this award three times - I am not biased, but all of his cars are this good....
I know that my choice of "Car of the Update" this time round may cause a few of you to raise an eyebrow for a number of reasons. Especially perhaps because it's an MG Rover 75...
...but not just any Rover 75, this is the monster MG ZT 260 V8 Mustang engined beast!
The whole story of the Rover collapse is well known and documented, and, in my opinion a very sad story - especially as in their last days MG Rover were producing great cars like this one. This very car was one of the last to be finished at Longbridge and remained there on site until finally sold in late 2006 and is registered on a "56" plate. It really ought to be in a museum, but I know it's new keeper is going to enjoy driving it!
It's not every day that you see one of these.... the car that some proclaim to be the most beautiful car in the world....
... this is a 1964 Facel Vega "Facel II". Delivered to the Royal Park Hotel, Lancaster Gate, Hyde Park, the car was in truly outstanding condition and being one of only 20 right hand drive models built made this car just that bit more special. Normally such cars go in to the fully enclosed trailer, but the sun was beaming down and the owner was more than happy to show this one off. Purists will note that it is not the original colour, but I am sure we all agree the blue is better than the grey that the car would have been originally.

It was pure coincidence last week that I should have the good fortune to collect two Austin Healey 3000's - both from separate owners and completely unrelated to each other. The first was stunning and I knew that it would be "Car of the Update" as soon as I saw it. Then when I collected the other two days later... it was stunning too! So, just for a change, I have featured them both.....
Often imitated, but never beaten, there is a big difference between the equipment that I use and the "everyday" car transporter. Some cars need very special treatment and equipment. Take this as an example...
...It's a 1988 Ferrari Testarossa. This really is perhaps THE performance car icon of the 1980's, it is twice as wide as it is high, 4.5 metres long and a massive 5 litre V12 pushes it down the tarmac. It really is a legend and a statement. Did you know it was not launched at a motor show? It's true, it was launched at a night club in Paris!
Very few single vehicle transporters are capable of transporting something like this, the "transit" and converted van chassis type cant take the weight legally or have such a shallow loading angle. With my new Discovery on adjustable Air Suspension and BJT "TT35" trailer it is an unbeatable combination. These even fit snugly into my new Tri Axle "Motor Shuttle" enclosed trailer - if you go further into the main gallery you will see for yourself....
This example was on it's way for specialist tuning and service by QV London > www.qv-london.com < "Serving Ferrari Since 1971"
t is well known that Philip Raby is quite an expert on the Porsche 911 and that his "Find a Porsche" service means that if you want one then he is the chap who will get you the best...
...and this is just one example. A superb Porsche 911 964 Carrera 4 collected from Chichester last week for its new keeper. Visit Philips website at www.findaporsche.com for more....
This is a 1961 Ferrari 250GTE...
...need I say more?
Actually I can, and, having been to the "Galleria Ferrari" twice in the last year, I can say that this car is so much better than the one on display in Maranello... The new owner in London I know is very proud of his purchase....
I have been here a few times now and each time the hospitality provided has always been second to none. The folks at Westfield Sports Cars really really are a great bunch and it's always a pleasure to help them out....
....first a delivery - an 1800SE for finishing and SVA (left) and another 1800SE that I took to Westfield 80% complete some weeks previously now on its way back to its owner all registered and ready to go!

An absolutely stunning 1955 Jaguar XK140 delivered to a private collector in the heart of rural Northamptonshire on an equally stunning day from its original home in the leafy London suburbs. In exceptional original condition this car certainly drew an awful lot of attention as it made its way round the M25 ! Why car of the update ? Because it was just "so", you know what I mean....

I was very lucky recently to be let loose for a few hours in a Caterham 7 Superlight and quite possibly have never been scared so witless in my life ! The thought that not only was my rear end 3 inches of the ground, at times the speedometer read 90, it was raining and the switches from the British Leyland Mini meant absolutely nothing would not escape me, but it was an experience that everyone should try at least once in their lives.
After this experience I always promised myself a trip to the Caterham showroom in Caterham, chequebook in hand, but thankfully ( for the bank manager ) a reality check stopped me in my tracks.
Imagine my good fortune when I had the pleasure of transporting this "Caterham Superlight" straight to that very showroom for its Lake District keeper for onward sale. Complete with carbon pack and the Mini switches it brought back some memories.... but, did I buy one for myself whilst I was there.....? To be continued....
I remember in the mid 1970's visiting "Hartwells of Banbury", then the British Leyland dealer in the town. My father needed a new car for his job as a Co-Operative Insurance ( CIS ) agent as the 3.0 Litre Granada at 12 to the gallon was a little heavy going for the stop and start that his job entailed. The new Princess looked great, but he bought a Marina 1.3 LE Special....
... lingering in the corner I remember clearly was a Maxi. Overlooked then and admittedly now until we collected this one for a pleasant chap in Mablethorpe...

It is a superb 1974, 43k, HL model. Resplendent in Maroon, with Maroon Velour, Dog Guard and "Soft" dash. Excellent, near concours condition and definitely worthy of "Car of the Update" !!
I think this must be a record breaker.....
...not because it is a very very fast, heavily modified Toyota Supra Turbo, but because it was a shade under 3 inches off the ground! Was it a problem to transport? Of course not! As you can see I can provide almost level entry into my covered transporter - and there are not many companies can do that!
Car of the update this time round was a difficult choice. Difficult in so much as can I really feature a "B" registration Mk3 Ford Escort as a highlight ?
Well the answer is "yes, I can".
This one is just a little bit special. Its also unique, mint, has heritage, notoriety is well known is the RS community etc etc etc. The car itself is the only original factory prepared Red Mk1 RS Turbo produced for the DataPost racing team in 1985. The history of the car is well documented elsewhere in print and on the web so I wont go into incorrect detail here ! Lets just enjoy the picture....

You Can Return to the Main Gallery by clicking "HERE".......
Another update of difficult choices - Ferrari Dino ? Talbot ( really ! ) Matra Maurena ? 1976 29k Renault 12 ? Well it was a late entry, 3 inches of the ground, weighed nothing and I got absolutely soaked in the Tyneside rain loading it....
Its a 2001 Lotus Elise Sport, not the Exige though similar. Complete with detachable steering wheel, the mother of alloy wheels and absolutely no luxuries its about as close as you can get to Karting with a roof ! Thing that baffles me is why do Lotus use white primer on a car three inches off the ground ? Answers on the back of a postcard please addressed to "Because it's from Norwich"...
True performance cars, just like genuine classics should always be treated with care and respect. With over 50 years family experience I have been given the opportunity to transport some cars that really do require a touch of specialist knowledge..... just like this rare beast.... and I do mean beast... and I do mean rare...!
It is a Porsche Kremer 930 Street Racing Turbo and there is not much I can say except "wow". I would recommend a visit to http://www.mcp-motorsport.com/images/description.asp?ID=26 to learn more !
The car was taken to its new keeper in Somerset who knew exactly what he wanted, both in terms of car and how it should arrive at his home.
On the last update I was faced with some difficult choices. This update was no problem and there really isn't much that I need to say about this 1997 Ferrari F355 Berlinetta....
Collected from the UK's Leading Used Ferrari Specialist David Miller based in Dorset it certainly drew the crowds whilst stationary on the closed M6 for 2 hours as it made its way to its new keeper in Preston...!
This update I have chosen a kit car, VW Beetle based, as was the original some would say....
It is a Porsche 356 California Speedster replica. Whilst purists would undoubtedly find many differences over the original it still is a very attractive motorcar and overall affordable... ! This particular example a been superbly finished inside and out and with very little work will be ready to cruise round its new home. Keep your eyes open in Montpelier....
This update I have chosen a car that has been living just down the road from me for nearly 20 years. In that time it has covered less than 100 miles per week on average, been polished religiously and cherished. Its a 1983 Mercedes 230E...
... The car was originally purchased from the director of a Mercedes dealer in Germany and brought to the UK in 1985. Its Left Hand Drive and unusually its a manual. Its condition was simply first class and where is in now... why, Canada.... here we see the car on its way from Northampton to the Port of Liverpool.
This update I have chosen a true British Classic not so distant from what is produced by the same manufacturer today. Its also the second time the marque has claimed my heady accolade of "Car of the Update", but you will see why....
This is a superbly presented Lotus Elite. The car had been in the hands of the former keeper for the last 10 years who in that time had returned this car to its former glory to the tune of thousands of pounds and it showed with its two tone paint exactly as the prototype. The car is now residing in my de-humidified storage pending onward transit to Texas... it will be sad to see this one go.
REMOVED!
This update highlight has been removed.
It featured a true British marque that has been bought solely for the badge by a big German manufacturer who is not worthy in my opinion of promotion, unless of course they want to pay me huge sums of money or give me a Brabus...!
You Can Return to the Main Gallery by clicking "HERE".......
This is a very special little car, 15 years old, 4100 miles on the clock and has been truly cherished by its former keeper, June, in Westerham for many many years. It's a Mini Moke....
.... but not just any Mini Moke. This one is the penultimate Mini Moke, built by Austin Rover Portugal in 1989 and has a little brass plaque resplendent on its sill to honour the fact ! Where is it now ? In the Grampian Transport Museum ( www.gtm.org.uk ) at Alford, 30 miles West of Aberdeen and will be available for viewing with all the other excellent exhibits when the museum re-opens in April 2006.
Regular visitors to the gallery will know that a personal favourite marque is Lotus as it tends to feature as "Car of the Update" more often than any other. This update is further evidence as it was a great pleasure to transport this last week...

... it is Lotus Sport Exige 240R, one of only 50 built and in the even rarer "Sport Black". Even though the car is 100mm from the ground and fitted with the largest of wheels and bodykit all round it was no problem for us to transport as we have the knowledge, ability and equipment to handle these prestige sports cars - unlike many other "transport" companies....!
There are many differing opinions of American cars, just like Marmite...
This is a 1976 Corvette Stingray T Top. Freshly imported by an environmentalist "Buying an old car is a bit like recycling...". It is seen here just as the snow started to fall in Manchester in early March 06 on its way to to the excellent Corvette Kingdom for some bodywork after being damaged in transit, apparently by a careless transportation company who clearly lacked experience in muscle cars!
This one I really liked. having done a few of these now I knew that this one might possibly be the best yet - and yes, it was.... It's a 1972 Fiat 500...
It was an unusual request - "I am moving house. Can you take 'Beany' ( The Car! ) and some of my things to Devon ?"
Of course! My Motor Shuttle can accommodate almost anything securely, legally and most importantly away from the elements unlike any other transporter in its class and so the house move went with ease and was a pleasure....
There is not a lot I can say about this stunning 1970 Ferrari Dino GT.... except that I promise it is not a replica!

So good it qualifies as my email signature and there are not many cars that can claim that accolade!
I promise that there is not a "trend" with the Car of the Update feature of my update, but you would be forgiven if you thought that there was! However, as if to prove the point, the Car of the Update this time round is this one...
.... it is an exceptional 1976 Triumph Stag. Of course being a 76 means that it quite possibly could have been one of the last off the line. Was it ? I am sure that someone will email me and let me know....!
You Can Return to the Main Gallery by clicking "HERE".......
Now and again I get asked to undertake some assignments where absolute secrecy is required regarding the identity of the vehicle that requires transportation, be it a prototype, model or destined for a client who wishes their identity not to be revealed. This car was no exception - it is the only one in the country and is the launch vehicle for the motor show later in the year....Safely tucked away with my fully enclosed trailer here we see the car unloaded for a photo shoot at a location in Hertfordshire.....
.... what it is will be revealed very soon.... watch this space....!
This is no ordinary 1976 Lotus Esprit 2. It is certainly "Work In Progress".....
...but the best bit ? Well apparently its has had a very famous original keeper... to be continued !
Regular visitors will know that occasionally I have to antagonise over which car to feature as Car of the Update as sometimes I really have a difficult decision to make as I am trusted with some very special cars. This update again has been agonising! I was kindly asked, as happens, not to illustrate the £2,000,000 ( Yes, that's two million ) "Italian" which would have been my natural first choice, so what next? Just like London buses two contenders came along at once, both on the same day and both exceptional in their own way. So once again I have chosen them both....
First and Foremost - A Ford...
...Not just any Ford of course, but a genuine Ford RS 200. Collected from the legendary Geoff Page in Maldon for its private keeper in "The North" this RS 200 was truly exceptional and a true credit to Geoff and its owner. The history of this car is very well documented elsewhere on the web so I won't go into incorrect detail here, but this car really is the business...
So what next? By no means least...
The RS 200 was in the afternoon - this was in the morning... an Audi....yes, really, an Audi as "Car of the Update"....
Not just any Audi - it's the stunning new Audi R8. This Audi R8 was on its way from Bath Audi to their customer in Kensington and of course required very special care which is of course which it received! It's 4 inches from the ground, has 19" alloy wheels and being brand new was spotless which is how Audi wanted it to arrive at it's destination - and of course - it did! Testimony indeed to my excellent transporter trailer built specially for such special cars.
PS. Some of you will be saying "It's a re-badged Porsche Carrera GT" - Trust me, it isn't, look further down the gallery and take a look at the one I took to the Goodwood Festival of Speed and see for yourself...
You Can Return to the Main Gallery by clicking "HERE".......
This is the second time around for this marque to appear as "Car of the Update". The 70's and early 80's variants are a particular favourite of mine and this one was truly excellent...
...it's a stunning 1981 Mercedes 380 SEC Pillar Less Coupe. Having covered a mere 76,000 Miles in its 25 years of garaged and pampered life it really is ready for a heritage collection. Usually these big Coupes suffer the big rust bug, see the other two in the Mercedes gallery, but not this one. A true credit to its former long term keeper!
You haven't seen one of these yet...
...it's the new Dodge Caliber.....(www.dodge.co.uk)
I transported this car back in April 2006 for a pre launch marketing photo-shoot, but couldn't reveal the cars identity until July. Right now it makes its way round the country hidden in my fully enclosed trailer on its way to public launch days - so watch the TV, read the press or come and see for yourself - the Caliber you see is the one that I have the privilege of showing you all - be it Southend Air Show, The Highland Games, Donnington, Fairford Air Show, Oulton Park.....
This is quite possibly the one of the most divine cars that I have had the pleasure to transport and enjoy the company of for a couple of days! It's a 1972 Maserati Ghibli and I took it down to "Top Gear" for filming and its studio appearance......
....The car is a true credit to its keeper who has a stunning collection of exotic sports cars from the last 40 years, this being just one of twelve at the last count. The day at Top Gear was enormously entertaining and you can even make me out in the audience protecting this machinery from Jeremy Clarkson who called it a Maserati that was "built when Maserati knew how to build cars"! Often repeated the programme that featured the Ghibli had Jack Dee as the "Star In A Reasonably Priced Car"....!
Over the last few weeks I have had the pleasure to transport some quite wonderful cars, including a Ferrari 308 "lightweight", an Alfa Spider, An Austin Seven that's been in the same family for so long, another "Lambo" and together with all this managed to fit in a visit to the "Galleria Ferrari" in Maranello, Italy. More about my visit will feature in a future update, but it did swing it for a car that I collected in the rain in Worksop last week....
....its an '88 Ferrari 412. This particular 412 is what the trade would describe as "exceptional", personally I would describe it as "gorgeous"! Indeed I once had a girlfriend of similar qualities, but this Ferrari I am sure would be more reliable!
The 412 was the first ever "luxury" Ferrari and the first to be fitted with ABS. Its greatest quality was that Pininfarina made so few changes to the existing incorruptible shape of the existing 365 GT4 and 400 it has become a design legend. What's more, 4 of you can fit in and zoom along at 140 mph ( on private roads... ) in dual climate controlled air conditioned luxury - not uncommon now, but how often did you do it in 1988?
I have collected a few of these now, and whilst its owner would tell you that it isn't perfect it certainly qualified as car of the update...
...it's a great little Austin Healey Frogeye Sprite. Next time you are in the Lakes, take care - you won't see this one over the hedges!
This is a 1924 Ford Model "A" Pheaton Tourer that I collected from Rome last week....
....which has had one owner from new and is as you can imagine a real find. The car is original right hand drive having spent most of its life in Australia. When the owner passed away his daughter had the car shipped to Italy where it has sat in its garage in the Rome suburbs untouched for 30 years. Now the car is with its new owner in Chester and restoration is underway...
A 1967 Ford Anglia 100e as Car of the Update ? Surely not....
...no ordinary Anglia this one though. It's an award winning Custom Hot Rod, highly tuned, highly detailed and simply excellent. Of all the cars that I have transported this one certainly got more attention than any other! So where can you see it? Well I doubt it would surprise you if I told you that it can be seen cruising round Newquay, Cornwall, of course...
Again it has been an agonising choice for "Car of the Update", but a late contender wins the heady accolade and it's the second update running for the marque to win this coveted prize. Yes, believe it or not, it's another Ford...

This is a stunning, original 1960 Mk2 Ford Consul that could easily have come straight from the showroom, or Heartbeat! Let's face it, it's closest rival for this feature was an equally stunning '74 Dino GT, but this really is cool and we have had a Dino up here before!
Absolutely stunning, unlike the weather (!), this Jaguar XK140 deserved nothing less than transportation safely tucked up inside the enclosed trailer....
....on the last Saturday before Christmas to its new home in the Lake District. The journey up the M6 took forever, but it was worth every minute!

Four days ago the phone rang. Not unusual.
"Hello, I have a car in ********. Are you able to collect it for me? It must be totally dry, secure and discreet, insured for 1 Million Euro and back in the UK by Saturday? " they asked.
" It's in *******? Not a problem, I'll collect it on my way back from St Tropez. What is it?" I asked by way of reply.
"It's a one owner, completely original, un-restored 1965 Ferrari 275 GTB" came the answer -
and blow me down if it wasn't just the most stunning car I have ever, ever transported...
This car arrived new in the UK in 1965 after being ordered after the models launch in 1964 by a well known "business man" who lived in Kent at the time. He requested many unique options, such as the red leather dash board, the altimeter, sports gear shifter, magnesium wheels and blue paint. The car was in his possession until his death and driven regularly and driven properly until then! After five years in captivity (!) the car is now back in the UK and part of a stunning private collection.
Look ! Another Corvette !
Hang on, isn't that Steve Coogan a.k.a. "Alan Partridge" or should I say "Tommy Saxondale" and Liza Tarbuck ( Daughter of Jimmy Tarbuck ) I see...?

...This stunning 73 Corvette Convertible was an immediate choice for the BBC to star in the excellent comedy TV series "Saxondale" after being spotted at a car show during the summer. Trust me, it really is quite excellent and more than qualifies as Car of the Update. Pity you can't hear it.....it's a beast...!
Just the other day it was my pleasure to collect a stunning Triumph Stag from the premises of the legendary Rimmer Brothers in Lincoln, but it the same week I collected this...
...It's a Strathcarron SC-5. Not just ANY SC-5 ( And there are so few...) but the prototype, the fully road legal, original SC-5.
Strathcarron has been
described as a "Gutsy" car manufacturer, suffering many trials and tribulations on the way to recognition as excellence. It is my opinion that these quintessentially British sports cars really do deserve every accolade so here is my small donation to wish them all the success they deserve..... "Car of the Update " !There is a common consensus in the MG world that quite possibly this MG "B" is the best in the world... Pull handles?, Steel Wheels?... Mint?.... So, how can they say it is that good.....?
Personally I agree although admittedly I have not seen all of them! However you can judge for yourself as it is currently on display, indeed For Sale, at the showrooms of Rockingham Classic and Sports ( www.rcands.co.uk ) together with a few more select classics. The proprietor Mark is a great chap and a visit is recommended to view these super cars and enjoy a coffee whilst you are there...
Sometimes, as stated before, choosing "Car of the Update" can be difficult. This time round was no exception, but the winner was a late contender as it was only collected yesterday!

This is a 1985 Ferrari Mondial QuattroValve ( QV) collected on behalf of David Miller, Ferrari Specialist. It is a very fine example indeed for a 21 year old supercar and there really is not much else I can say, the picture says it all. Oh, actually one thing I can say is that at the time of update it is for sale....!
I must admit that military vehicles are not really my thing, but there are exceptions to every rule and this is one of them - It's a 1957 Hotchkiss 201...
Hotchkiss Jeeps were built in Paris, France for the French Government to a very similar design to Willys. This one could have easily rolled out the factory yesterday it was a real credit to its keeper!
